High School Musical

Tonight Tina, Kasey, Kelli, Baleigh, Kinsley, Hadley, Addie, and I had a great time at High School Muscial at Highlands Little Theater and WOW was so good. The girls had a BLAST. I was not sure how Addie was really going to do at a play but she was glued the whole time to it. After the show we had a chance to meet up with some of the lead cast and get some pictures with them. Addie's favorite was Troy and it made her night that she got to take a picture with him.

After school Addie and I came home to Miley barking up a storm, so we went out to see what was going on and come to find out we had a special visitor come to visit us. It was a little gopher turtle. Miley was not sure about it but Addie loved it. She got the turtle some lettuce and water, because she said that she knew it would be hungry and thristy after its long journey. The turtle liked the lettuce but not sure about the water. Addie watched for awhile and decided that it needed a name and came up with Luci Anna and it stuck.

EWWW Cooties

Addie loves to play games, all kinds of games, cards or board games. Her favorite is Candy Land or Go Fish. The other night mom asked her if she wanted to play a new game and Addie decided on Cooties. Addie thought the name was so funny and that is why she picked it. She had never played it before but loved it once we got playing. It brought many laughs and is a game that we will play very often now.

Gardening

This year for Easter Addie recieved gradening stuff from the Easter Bunny. She even recieved some pots and seeds so that she can garden herself. Addie loves to help out her Grandma Judy water and take care of her plants, so she was very excited when she recieved her stufff. The the other weekend Addie wanted to plant her seeds in hopes that they will grow. She also helped me do some relanting. She did such a good job and waters the plants all the time. I really hope that they grow.... We will see.

A Girl and Her Boots

This year for Easter Grandma Angie and Pops gave Addie some gardening boots in her Easter basket. They are really very cute and Addie loves them and wants to wear them everywhere everyday.

Happy Earth Day!

The girls helped celebrate Earth Day by wearing their GO GREEN shirts. It was to cute I could not help but get a picture. HAPPY EARTH DAY!

Easter Weekend

Easter was celebrated almost all weekend and was alot of fun. To start the weekend off, one of Addie's good friend, Paige invited her to their church Easter egg hunt on Saturday morning. So off we went to the egg hunt first thing that morning but stopped first to pick up my sweet niece, Harley to come along with us. The girls had a blast and got lots of eggs. After hunting eggs there was lots games to play and food. Addie said that her favorite thing was the big slide. The girls went down the slide numerous times. After that we headed home for a quick rest and then on to the next celebration. Fred and Dana had Easter at their home this year with Chet's mom side of the family. We had a fun time with lots of food and family around to celebrate. Each family brought a dozen eggs so that we could have a practice egg hunt so that the kids would know what to do when the Easter bunny came the next morning. The kids loved it and Addie and Davin were great sports about helping the little ones out once they found their eggs. Addie and Davin were given a special golden egg and it was hidden very hard to find, but they both found them. Eveyone had a great time and once all was cleaned up we headed home to get a good nights rest for the Easter Bunny. The next morning we woke up bright and early with Addie ready to hunt what the Easter Bunny had left for her. She was so excitied and even Miley helped her hunt eggs. She said that she was very thankful for what the Easter Bunny had brought her becasue it was what she had always wanted. Addie played with stuff from the bunny while we got ready for the last celebration of the weekend. Every year for Easter we always have an Easter bunch at mom and dad's. Everyone brings someting and we always have so much good food and more than enough. The kids always go on an egg from mom. The 3 little girls hunt aggs and then recieve their baskets. While the 4 older girls don't get their basket so easy. Mom always has some kind of adventure for them before they can recieve their basket. This year the girls had to find their 24 eggs and in each egg was a puzzle pieces. Once all of the eggs were collected they had to put the puzzle together and then they could recieve thier baskets. All the girls love to do this and can't wait to see what Grandma Judy will think of next year. Last we ALWAYS end with a water balloon fight among us all. It is the girls favorite part. This year we told the girls not this year so they were not expecting it but we could not go a year without it.
